Maura`s almost favorite season of the year....next to winter and summer! We found her old puppy pen and she loves it!

And of course she needs a yellow bandanna to be festive!

Should Maura Be a Show Dog?...

Okay, people tell me Maura should compete in shows. I wanted too at first, but there was one really stupid drawback. But Maura is a very good representation of the breed I think. But rules are rules, so no Pembroke with blue fur can be in shows. We like agility more anyways. ( I have a least 7 dog encyclopedias, so this is were I can sound really smart. I od my research. :)

Medium size, brown,adorable oval eyes

Flat skull

I couldn`t get a photo of her scissor bite, because she wouldn`t let me hold her mouth together (Maura`s tongue got in the way.)

Erect tapering ears.....they were tilted because the leash was on it :P

Naturally very short tail....thank god it wasn`t docked.

Oval feet- not turning in or out. ( I think)

Elbows sligthly inward

The bad part- No waviness or blue fur is allowed in the show ring. Oh well, Maura`s too good for them anyway. ( Not really)

Newly Cut Grass

Maura gets so happy when the grass is cut so she can find bugs much easier and eat them! Ew.

Reading...Of Course....Bores Maura

Like a lot of things I do, Maura is bored by those things. (except for agility and playing and attention.) But reading, bores her the most.

Maura`s Corgi Cupcake Recipe!

I am throwing Maura a party! (don`t worry, she doesn`t know) I got her a frisbee and a squeaky tennis ball. Also, I am making her a cupcakes!

Recipe-

Ingredients:
(for cupcakes)
 1 cup of whole wheat flour (Bleached flour can KILL dogs)
 1 teaspoon of baking soda
 1/4 cup of peanut butter
 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
 1 egg
 1 cup of doggie bicuts
( for decoration)
  icing: 1/2 cup of peanut butter, various food dyes
  decoration: sliced carrots

Steps:
1.Preheat oven to 350* F
2. Mix flour and baking soda together in one bowl. (dry ingrtedients)
3. Mix peanut butter,vegetable oil, and egg in another bowl. (wet ingredients)
4.Mix together until smooth
5.Then, for consistency, grind the dog bisuts ina fine powder and stir into batter. (make sure there are no chunks of bicuts, this really messes it up)
6.Bake for 15 minutes
7. Let the cupcakes cool for 45 minutes.

Icing-
1. Mix peanut butter and food coloring to get a rainbow of colors. ( since the peanut butter is brown, the colors will be somewhat dark.)
2. Ice the cupcake with peanut butter icing.
3. Slice the carrots and put them on top.
